Actually, bats only took off one hit point if I recall, so more than likely it'll just hurt. A lot. I mean, that's like a third of his life force at the moment. He'll be sent reeling. From a bat no less. How embarrassing. >.>

Edit:  If shoes don't, then neither does the hat.  Plus, who's to say he's not wearing underwear down there?

I'm overthinking this. He's a robot, he only needs clothes to look cool.

...Depends how realistic he is.  After all, if the folks in Cave Story didn't notice he was a robot until Booster pointed it out, then who's to say he doesn't act much more like a human than we think?  He could sweat... or take a leak, as many of us thought he was back in the good old days with hue-challenged rainbows.
